Obituary

Janet "Jan" Wojnovich, 86, of Baldwinsville, passed away Monday at Elderwood at Liverpool after a brief illness. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she married and had six children.

She was a member of the Baldwinsville First United Methodist Church and an active member of Canton Woods Senior Center. Jan enjoyed trips to the casino, OTB, playing cards, and live music especially Neil Diamond. She was an avid tennis player and enjoyed bowling and bingo.

Jan was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Tigers Shrine Daughters of the Nile.

She was predeceased by her husband, James R. Wojnovich; and son, Michael.

Jan is survived by her son, James and his family, Michiyo, Hanna, and Wendi; his daughter, Wendy and her family, Tim Korycinski, Josh (Ed Przybielski) Halko, Kayleigh (Grant) Stalley and their children, Wyatt and Gracie Stalley and Sasha Korycinski; her son Kevin, and his family, Kristine, Davis, Eva, and Brady; her daughter-in-law, Bridget Wojnovich and her family, Sophia, Olivia, and Isabella; her son, Scott and his family, Lisa, Alexa, and Bryce; and her son, Matthew and his family, Emma, Ethan, and Amelia; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Baldwinsville First United Methodist Church or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
