Janet M. Brownell Benway, 62, of 119 Blanchard Blvd., Van Buren, died Friday, October 11, 2002. Born in Watertown, she lived 50 years in the Baldwinsville area. She was a homemaker. A son, Harold P., died in 1978.

Survivors: Her husband of 45 years, Harold G.; three sons, John Waite, of Youngsville, N.C., and Craig Benway and Paul Benway, both of Baldwinsville; two sisters, Joyce Brownell, of North Syracuse, and Rosalie Brownell, of Syracuse; a brother, Ronald Brownell, of Utica; two grandchildren.

Services: Will be private. No Calling hours. Burial will be at Belle Isle Cemetery, Town of Camillus.
