Jane "Mondella" Wener, 78 of Baldwinsville, passed away Tuesday at University Hospital after a short illness. Born in Rutland, VT to the late Joseph and Catherine Mondella. Jane graduated from Mt. St. Joseph's Academy prior to attending beautician's school in Boston MA. Jane moved back to Rutland where she married Terry Wener at St Peters church in 1967. Jane and Terry settled in Baldwinsville in 1977.
Jane worked for many years selling produce for S.M. Flickinger's in East Syracuse. She then went on to spend 17 years at the American Heart Association.
Jane enjoyed spending time with her family, taking walks with her dog Bella, and especially reading.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Terry Wener of Baldwinsville; two sons Kevin (Kristina) of Castorland NY, Christian (Marcy) of Baldwinsville NY; her grandchildren Ally, Ariel, Madison, and Ethan; her sisters and brother, Marie Gilligan, Virginia Barry, and Joseph (Cheryl) and many nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
Jane was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Catherine Mondella.

Calling hours will be 4-7pm Tuesday February 1st at Falardeau Funeral home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 am at St Elizabeth Ann Seton church with burial immediately following the service.
