Jane Mitchell, 87, daughter of Loyd and Aileen Mitchell died Saturday, January 8, 2011, following a short illness. in Aurora, Colorado. She was a native of Baldwinsville and a 1941 graduate of Baldwinsville Academy. Jane was employed 45 years in the aerospace industry, particularly 21 years with TRW in Redondo Beach, California and Las Cruces, NM. During her time with TRW, Jane worked in Germany for 3 years and traveled extensively thoughout Europe and the Middle East, later traveling to South America. She resided in Las Cruces, NM over 22 years, moving recently to Aurora, CO.

Survivors: her sister Aileen "Irish" Ecker and brother-in-law Robert Ecker of Baldwinsville; six nieces and nephews, Stephen, Sheila, Sean, Stacie Mays, Claudia Wilson and Gavin; six great nieces and nephews.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Wednesday, January 19, 2011 in St. Mary's Church Baldwinsville, Spring burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
