Jane Mertens, 86, passed away on Thursday, February 16. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from St. Vincent De Paul High School and CCBI Business School. Jane was employed by Will & Baumer Candle Co. and Syracuse China for 20 years as Customer Service Mgr. and Production Control Mgr. After her husband of 45 years, Raymond C. Mertens, passed away, she was employed at Syracuse Home Assoc., which she loved all the residents. Jane and her husband enjoyed golfing, bowling, and fishing.

Jane leaves behind her two sons, Raymond (Kimberly) and Michael Mertens; grandchildren, Raymond Jr, Brittany, and Miki (Jose); 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023, 11 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery, Tappan St, Baldwinsville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
