Jane M. Shallcross Matyjewicz of Baldwinsville, 82, passed away on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025, after a long illness. Jane was born on March 15th, 1942 in Syracuse, NY to John and Adelia Ross. Throughout her life Jane enjoyed cooking, playing cards, casino trips, horse racing with Leon, bowling in a women's league, piping HOT soup and scratch offs. She always looked forward to spending time with her family. She also enjoyed working in various restaurant establishments including Williams Restaurant, DJ Inn and Sables.

Jane is predeceased by parents John and Adelia Ross, beloved husband Leon Matyjewicz, granddaughter Jessica Aquino, and nieces Karen Smith Shafer and Melinda Sue Smith. Also her beloved dog Scamper. Jane married Thomas Shallcross IV on February 2, 1962 and had 3 children. Jane went on later to marry Leon Matyjewicz on September 8, 2004. She leaves behind daughter Melanie (Greg) Coons and her sons, Thomas (Pam) Shallcross and Steve (Michelle) Shallcross; grandsons Ethan Shallcross and Devin Morse; and granddaughters Jennifer (Andy) Kolbeck, Kristin (Rhys) Milsap, Jackie Shallcross and Samantha Shallcross; great grandchildren Joey Longden, Grace Milsap and one in the
oven (Waylon Thomas). In addition, her sister Shirley (Allen) Edwards; nieces, Lois (Doug Etter) Smith, Ellen Lucas, and Kim (Raymond) Fadden; nephew, Len Smith; as well as other family members.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 28 from 4 - 7 pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville. Private burial will be held in the spring.
