Jane E. Thompson Goodwin, 83, of Buckley Road, Salina, died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. She was born in Syracuse. She retired in 1980 after more than 15 years as a nurse's aide at Crouse Hospital. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville, and a member of the Baldwinsville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 153 and American Legion Post 113 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a volunteer at Canton Woods Senior Center. Her husband, William E., died in 1992.

Survivors: A daughter, Nancy J. Coomey of Baldwinsville; three sons, William R. of Baldwinsville, Thomas C. of Memphis and Richard E. of Highland, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

Services: 8:30 a.m. Monday at Falardeau Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
