James C. Strife, 53, of Memphis passed away Monday, May 25, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was born in Lowville, raised in Black River and had lived in Memphis the past 19 years. Jim was employed for many years in the food industry, most recently with SYSCO. He was an outdoor enthusiast.

He was predeceased by his father, Carlton and a brother Stephen.

Survivors: his wife of 30 years Elizabeth; a daughter, Jane; two sons, James II and Johnathan; his mother, Dolores Strife; sisters, Shari (Rodney) McIntosh, Sandy (Mark) Connelly and Holly (Stephen) Erdner; brothers, Joe (Diane), Michael (Patty), Mark (Shanie), Scott (Billie Jo), Paul (Althea) and sister-in-law, Dawn Strife; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 2:00 pm Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Word Of Life Assembly of God, 12 E. Oneida St., Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday, May 29, 2015, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
