James A. (Doc) Shackleton, age 73, passed away on September 2, 2024 at Samaritan Keep Home.

James was born in Syracuse, NY to Robert Shackleton and Jeannette Fauler.
He married Kym Shackleton of Baldwinsville, New York on April 11, 2003 in Baldwinsville, NY.

He was preceded in death by Robert Shackleton (Father), Jeannette Fauler (Mother), and brothers Lloyd, John and Robert.

James is survived by his wife Kym, sister Cheryl, brother Joe, his step children Carly, Amanda and Logan, 9 grandchildren, his godson Noah, and many nephews and nieces.

He graduated from Baker High School in Baldwinsville and was a warehouse worker for much of his career. James retired in 2017 from Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits before moving to Alexandria Bay.

He lived for God, family and golf.

There will not be any services. There will be a 'Celebration of Life' at a future date.

A special thank you to the entire staff on the 8th floor of Samaritan Keep Home who loved "Jimmy" wholeheartedly for 4 1/2 years.
