PFC, James Searight, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Searight of 4 Brooks Pl., Baldwinsville, was killed in action March 13, 1967 while in vicinity of Tam Ky Vietnam.
A 1964 graduate of Baldwinsville High School, he was employed at Sudday's Red and White store before his enlistment. He enlisted in the Marine Corps, February 21, 1968, and was sent to Vietnam last August. He was stationed at Chu Lai.
Surviving. Besides, his parents are brother Thomas Searight of North Syracuse, a nephew, several uncles and cousins.
Funeral service Monday, 10 AM in the Falardeau Funeral Home, 17 Grove St., Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours, Saturday 8-3 PM, Sunday 3-5 and 7-9 PM.
