James W. Pyle, 69, of Baldwinsville died Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Miller County, AK, raised in Cass County, TX and has lived in the Baldwinsville area since 1958. Jim retired in 2003 after over 30 years with Crucible Steel Corp. He served in the US Navy from 1955-66.

Survivors: his wife of 49 years, the former Mary A. Young; a daughter, Tammy (David) Mosher of Brewerton; four sons, James W. (Laura), Jr. of Baldwinsville; Thomas L. (Jean) of Maud, TX, Ernest J. (Diane) of Baldwinsville and Curtis E. (Michele) of Port Byron; two sisters, Dorothy Gillette and Norma Jean Thomas both of Atlanta, TX; two brothers, James Carney Pyle and Troy Pyle both of Atlanta, TX; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00am Monday, May 21, 2007 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 3-7pm Sunday, May 20, 2007 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
