James R. Lamirande

James R. Lamirande, age 61, of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, in Syracuse, NY. Born May 15, 1964, Jim lived a life marked by Faith, strength, caregiving, and dedication to his craft.

Holding an associate's degree from Alfred University, Jim established DeLam Services LLC – and was known for quality workmanship. He was equally adept at fine carpentry and had a passion for woodworking, leaving a legacy of structures and small projects.

A natural empath, Jim was a caregiver and protector to those in need. His unwavering devotion to God was exemplified by his mantra and edict to friends and family, "Keep the faith" or sometimes simply "KTF". Private and courageous, Jim faced life's challenges with bravado and confidence, with Faith at the forefront – rather than losing his battle to leukemia, Jim accepted that it was his time to be called Home.

Jim enjoyed biking and walking in the mornings, became an avid reader, and had a lifelong passion for fishing. He had an ear for great music and naturally transitioned from bandmate to band manager when he connected with musician friends, becoming known as the ultimate decider.

Jim is survived by his siblings, Susie, Jeffrey, Jill, Mary, and John.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville, with burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
