James L. Klingensmith, 83, of Baldwinsville formerly of Endicott peacefully passed away at Loretto Saturday, November 21, 2015. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and after serving in the Korean War moved to Endicott, where he was employed as an Electrical Engineer with IBM (FSD) until retirement. He enjoyed his beloved dogs, hunting, sailing, and sports. Jim and his wife Dawn moved to Florida in 2006 and then returned to New York, settling in Baldwinsville in 2013.


He was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Klingensmith.


A quiet, gentle family man he leaves his beloved wife of 58 years, Dawn Klingensmith; his children and their spouses, James and Linda Klingensmith of Bedford, NH, Susan and Steven Smith of Basking Ridge, NJ, and Michele and David Wilson of Baldwinsville; five grandchildren; a brother, Ralph (Josie) Klingensmith; his sisters, Norma Friend, Darlene Makin, and Lillian Nicoll; many nieces and nephews.


Services will be at 10:00am Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville, NY.
