James "Jim" Kent Sr., 66, of Baldwinsville, passed on Wednesday at home. Born in Syracuse, he enjoyed watching sports, especially the Buffalo Bills and SU sports and spending time with his family, friends, and his dog Casper. Jim was an Army veteran.

Jim was predeceased by his parents, Harmon Kent and Dorothy Borczuk; sister, Linda Gibbons; and brother, Kenneth Kent.

Surviving are his wife, Tina together for 31 years; children, James (Racheal), Jennifer, Jesse; and step-son, Michael Barton; three sisters and three brothers; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 14, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
