James (Jim) Guarasci passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2025, in Syracuse, NY. Jim was born August 22, 1952, the son of the late Francesco Guarasci and Edna Guarasci.

Jim spent his life carrying on the third generation of the family business, Cities Leather & Luggage, Inc. He was a very active man and passionate about his many hobbies; windsurfing, dog sled racing, RC cars, weight lifting, running, cycling, skiing and snowboarding. He spent several years teaching skiing and snowboarding at Song Mountain.

Jim's love for Disney and the Florida sunshine inspired him and his wife, Rebecca, to purchase a home in Central Florida, where they would spend winters and which eventually became their primary home. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; children; Kristopher (Mariah), DJ, and Nicholas (Andrea); his sister; Terri Maher (Gary); grandchildren, Anthony, Liliana, Olivia, David Jr., Lana, Jimmy, Aubrey; nieces; Courtney Thomson, Cammi Brywczynski; and numerous relatives and friends.

A celebration of life at a future date in New York State will be announced.
