James W. Darby, 51, of Baldwinsville died Thursday, July 24, 2003 at Francis House. He was born in Syracuse and lived in the area most of his life. He was employed as a machinist at Will & Baumer and previously with Allied Chemical Co. and served in the US Army from 1969-72.

Survivors: Significant Other, Sally Bancroft of Baldwinsville; his mother, Schatz Besaw Darby and his father James F. Darby, both of N. Syracuse; two daughters, Shannon Higgins of Binghamton and Theresa Darby of Monroe; son, James Darby of Liverpool; five brothers, David "Mike" of West Monroe, Kevin of Syracuse, Brian of Pennellville, Dennis and Alan both of No. Syracuse.

Services: at 10:00am Monday, July 28, 2003 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Sunday, July 27, 2003 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
