Irene Wilber, 72, passed away in Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital Tuesday, January 16, 2007, loosing a difficult battle with liver failure. Irene was born as Irene Miller in Atlanta, GA on September 9, 1934. She lived her entire life in the Lysander, NY area. Irene spent most of her life as a full-time mother and grandmother. She will be remembered as a kind and loving mother-bear. Irene was a sweet wife and a loving mother to six children and numerous foster children. She was married to George Wilbur in Lysander, NY August 8, 1954. She was sealed for Eternity in the Logan Utah Chapel in 1959. Irene was preceded by her husband George just six weeks earlier.

Survivors: her four sons, George, Jr. of Seattle, WA, Michael of Vergennes, VT, Stephen of American Forks, UT, David of Sandy, UT; two daughters, Kathryn of Cato, NY and Susan of Chandler, IN; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services: Viewing at 7:00pm-9:00pm Friday, January 19, 2007 at Falardeau Funeral Home in Baldwinsville at 93 Downer St. Funeral at 11:00am Saturday, January 20, 2007, in LDS Chapel in Fulton at 837 State Rte. 48, Fulton, NY. Spring burial in Lysander Cemetery.
