Irene Pientka Rowley, 90, of Baldwinsville died Friday at home, under the care of Hospice of CNY. She was born in on March 29, 1924 the daughter of the late Bolasow and Anna Pientka. Predeceased by her husband of 71 years Merrill K. Rowley in 2013 and all of her siblings. Irene loved cooking and knitting and making scrap books. She would always make sure any visitor was well fed.
Survivors: her sons, Merrill P. Rowley of Florida, James M. Rowley of Baldwinsville, Edward Orlick of Syracuse; her daughter and son in law, Joan & Gary Bippus of Clay; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Burial 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Riverview Cemetery.
