Ila V. Brant-Cummings 88, of Syracuse passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015. She was born in Deseronte, Ontario, Canada and lived in the Syracuse area most of her life. Ila was an embroiderer of athletic wear for over 50 years and received the Syracuse Woman's Business Award at one time.

Survivors: her son and daughter-in-law, M. Michael and Charlene Brant of Canastota; three grandchildren, Benjamin Brant of New Mexico, Heather Brant of Canastota and Justin Brant of New Mexico; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 11:00am - 1:00pm Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville with a service to follow at 1:00pm. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Syracuse.
