Ida Mary Carr Blackman, 85, of Baldwinsville died Monday, July 14, 2003 at Rosewood Heights Health Center. She was born in Ohio and lived in Baldwinsville since 1948. Mrs. Blackman retired after 42 years with General Electric Corp. Heavy Military Division. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville and a member of St. Mary's Parents Club. She was an honorary life board member of Baldwinsville Meals On Wheels and a member of both Canton Woods and Carriage House Senior Centers.

Survivors: two daughters, Donna Rose Blackman of Baldwinsville and Marta A. Newkirk of Newburg; seven step-grandchildren; seven great step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:00am Saturday, July 19, 2003 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 10:30am in St. Mary's Church. Burial, St. Mary's Ressurrection Chapel Mausoleum, DeWitt. Calling hours are 6-9pm Friday, July 18, 2003 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
