Howard P. "Mort" Mortimer, 83, of Baldwinsville died Monday, August 4, 2008, at St. Camillus Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Phillipston, PA and has lived in Baldwinsville since 1955. Mort was an Army Air Corps veteran of WW II. He received his masters degree from Syracuse University and retired from Crucible Steel Corporation after 41 years of service.

Survivors: his wife of 59 years, Annice M. Mortimer; his children, Daniel Mortimer of Baldwinsville; Jennifer (David) Soucy of Union Springs, Susan (David) Gustina of Lysander, and Philip (Lauri) Mortimer of Fulton; his sister, Louise Smith of E. Brady, PA; two brothers, Lee and Laird Mortimer both of E. Brady, PA; 8 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 1:00pm Thursday, August 7, 2008, at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 11:00am - 1:00pm at the funeral home, 93 Downer St. prior to the service.
