Howard W. ''Fordy'' Forderkonz, 75, of West Dead Creek Road, Baldwinsville, died Tuesday at Oswego Hospital. Born in Lysander, he lived in Baldwinsville most of his life. He retired in 1986 after 30 years with Allied Corp. in Solvay. He had worked at Jardine Bronze and Aluminum Foundry in Baldwinsville. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. A daughter, Sally Stroup, died in 1979; a son, Howard ''Skip,'' died in 1998.

Survivors: His wife of 56 years, the former Winifred E. Maloney; two daughters, Debbie Floss of Rochester and Bonnie Morgenstern of Cato; a son, James E. of Brewerton; two brothers, Robert and Richard, both of Baldwinsville; 11 grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Falardeau Funeral Home. Burial, Sandridge Cemetery, Pennellville. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
