Howard G. Craig, 70, of Baldwinsville passed away peacefully at home with his loved ones by his side on Saturday, January 25, 2014. He was a retired employee of Paperworks Packaging Group. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and while serving in Vietnam, he helped set up an orphanage for the infants and children and personally donated many supplies. Howard proudly served his country. The American Flag and Bald Eagle, symbols of the US, were dear to his heart. His love of the St. Lawrence River where he has been going every summer since childhood to the family camp on Thelema Point, Cedar Island are his favorite memories. He also lived on the Seneca River and enjoyed boating, golfing, traveling and woodworking.
Survivors: his beloved wife, the love of his life, the former Donna M. Richardson,; stepchildren; Kelly, Laurie, & John Sands, sisters; Margo (CJ) Gorius, Chrystine (Drew) Shepard, & Kimberlee (Tom) Forbes; grandchildern; Paul, Michael, Traci, Kayleigh, Jordan, & Nicholas; three great grandchildren and nephews.
Calling hours are 4-7pm Thursday, January 30, 2014, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
