Obituary

Herbert J. Hildebrandt, 75, of Baldwinsville passed away Monday, December 5, 2005 at Crouse Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Bayside, NY, graduated from Bayside High School and Rensselaer Polytech Institute in Troy, NY. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. For 25 years he worked as an electrical engineer for General Electric and then ran NRD Systems for another 25 years. Herb was a former volunteer driver for the Baldwinsville Ambulance, past Boy Scout representative and member/Elder at First Presbyterian Church. He held the patent on the original IV Feeder. He enjoyed life to the fullest with "his girls", along with golf, bowling, skiing, chess, checkers, and bridge. Herb was predeceased by his brother, Victor G. Hildebrandt in 2001.

Survivors: his wife of 53 years, Doris Becker Hildebrandt; three daughters, Diana (Frank) Anastas and Carol (Christopher) Smith of Baldwinsville, and Linda Hildebrandt of Richmond, VA; three granddaughters, Audra, Lindsay and Cheryl; two grandsons, Mark and Ryan; two nephews and two nieces.

Services: 11:00am Friday, December 9, 2005 at First Presbyterian Church Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 5-9pm Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
