Helen M. Wase, 69, passed away at Crouse Hospital on Wednesday, June 19. She was born in Syracuse to George and Eva "Becky" Wase and was a lifelong resident of Baldwinsville. She was a 1967 graduate of Baker High School, 1971 graduate of Oswego State, and received her Master's Degree from Syracuse University. Helen was a Special Education Teacher and taught in the Baldwinsville School District and retired from the Jamesville-Dewitt School District. Her most proud accomplishment was being the announcer and a founding member of the Baldwinsville Community Band.

Helen is predeceased by her parents.

Helen is survived by her sister, Nancy (William) Scully; niece, Tracie (Lawrence) Lateef; nephew, Thomas Scully; great-nephews, Eli and Isaiah Lateef; cousins, Patricia (Craig) Canute, Virginia (Bill Yoder) Turley, and Joan Graves.

Calling hours are 2-5 pm Saturday, June 22, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. A Memorial Celebration will follow at 5pm.
