Helen A. Podosek Giofrida, 87, of Old Liverpool Road, Liverpool, died Wednesday. Born in New York Mills, she lived in Rochester and Webster before moving to Liverpool in 1999. She worked at Stromberg Carlson in Rochester and retired in 1977. She was a communicant of St. Philip Neri Church in Rochester for 50 years. Her husband, Joseph, died previously.

Survivors: A daughter, Annette Zello of Baldwinsville; a son, Philip J. of Naples, Fla.; two sisters, Jo Shanley and Bert Perry, both of Rome; a brother, Edward Podosek of Penfield; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Services and burial: Saturday in Rochester. Calling hours, 3 to 5 p.m. today at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
