Helen Jane Cook, 88, of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026. She was born in Potsdam to Katherine & Edwin Logan where she attended Postdam State Crane School of Music. Jane dedicated her life to education, inspiring many students during her tenure as a teacher with the Baldwinsville School District.

Jane is survived by her loving children, Mark Cook (Kyle), Kathy Touhey (Jack), Jeff Cook (Sherrie) and MaryAnne Zieziula. She was a proud grandmother to Liz Cook, Alex & Matthew Sherman, Jake & Holly Cook, Ben & Katie Zieziula along with 4 great-grandchildren who brought joy to her life. Jane enjoyed playing cards with her bridge groups and spending time in Florida. She had especially fond memories of her friends from Crego Street and Reynolds school.

Her legacy of kindness, generosity, stability and dedication to family and friends will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Jane will be laid to rest in Baldwinsville, where friends and family will gather to celebrate her life.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 5, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Avenue, Syracuse or a charity of your choice.
