Obituary

Harry W. Van Patten, Jr., 77, of Baldwinsville died Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at his home. He was born in Syracuse and lived in the area most of his life. He and his wife, Teresa, spent Winters in Florida following his retirement from New Process Gear in 1985. Harry was a graduate of Syracuse University and an Army veteran of WW II and Korea. He was a founding member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Camillus and was presently a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Baldwinsville. Harry was an avid golfer, fisherman and boater.

Survivors: his wife of 52 years, the former Teresa M. Dattellas; two daughters, Laurie (Paul) Bess of Baldwinsville and Karen (George) Miner of Big Flats, NY; a son, Allyn (Barbara) Van Patten of Burke, VA; a sister, Esther Findling of Tipton, IN; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 3:00pm Sunday, September 18, 2005 at Grace Episcopal Church, Oswego Rd., Baldwinsville. Burial at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Saturday, September 17, 2005 at the Falardeau Funeral Home, Inc., 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
