Harriette Cora May, 99, of Endicott, NY passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 10, 2016. Harriette was born on March 3, 1917, to the late Lloyd and Viva Dunbar. She spent most of her life in Baldwinsville, NY before retiring to Melbourne, Florida where she spent many years before relocating back to Baldwinsville to be near family. She had only lived in Endicott since February 2016.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Samuel Sr., her son, Donald, her sister, June Marks and her great-grandson, Caleb Mead.

She is survived by her son, Samuel (Rachel) May of Endicott, daughter-in- law, Patricia May of Martville, NY and her sister, Freida Waldron. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family and was fortunate enough to have spent so much time with her 5 grandchildren: Tracey Mead, Valerie (Michael) Castiglia, Daniel (Susan) May, Michelle Adams, and Dawn (Patrick) Basile. She also adored her 10 great- grandchildren with all her heart. She is also survived by several dear nieces and nephews.

When she wasn't spending time with family, Harriette loved to needle point, shop, bake and decorate and always had a keen sense of style. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Calling hours are 11-1 pm Monday, November 14, 2016 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville with services to follow at 1:00pm. Burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery.
