Harold F. "Shorty" Thompson, 85, of Baldwinsville died Sunday, March 9, 2008 at University Hospital. He was a native and life resident of Baldwinsville. Shorty was an Army veteran of WW II. He was employed for many years with Morris Pumps in Baldwinsville and retired in 1987 from Oberdorfer Foundries Syracuse, NY. He was pre-deceased by his son, Richard Thompson and a brother Rex Thompson.

Survivors: his wife of over 60 years, the former Velma Hobbs; his daughter, Suzanne Mills of Baldwinsville; grandsons, Mark (Jackie) Mills, James (Kristy) Mills and Thomas (Susan) Mills; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Henrietta Mathewson of Orchard Park, NY and Jane Brotherton of Baldwinsville; and two nieces.

Services: 11:00am Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Spring burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
