Harold D. "Whitey" Griffin, Sr., 76, of Baldwinsville died Friday, September 5, 2003 at Seneca Hill Manor in Oswego. He was born in Mexico, NY and was a WWII Navy "Seabee" Veteran. He worked for 19 years as a pipefitter for Sealwright in Fulton and for 20 years as a sprinkler fitter for the Automatic Sprinkler Industry Local Union #669.

Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Madeline Ray Griffin; a son, Harold D. Griffin, Jr. of Phoenix, NY; a daughter, Diane Brown of Kingston, NY; a son, Gary Griffin of Pennellville, NY; a daughter, Donna Fuller of Baldwinsville, NY; a son Michael Sevey of Colton, NY; 3 sisters; one brother; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00am Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are 4-7pm Monday, September 8, 2003 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
