Obituary

Harley S. Loveless, 94, of Baldwinsville, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at home. He was a native of Baldwinsville and a graduate of Baldwinsville Academy. Harley was a pilot in the Army Air Corp throughout WWII, during which he flew a C47 through the China-Burma-India (and Himalayan) Hump. He was honorably discharged as a Captain in 1945. Harley helped run his father's farm and slaughterhouse. He retired from Centro and also drove bus for the Baldwinsville School District. He was a member of the VFW Post 153, the American Legion Post 113 and the Hump Pilot Association. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 64 years, Evelyn Kerwood Loveless in 2004 and sons Ronald Loveless in 1946 and Robert W. Loveless in 2010.

Survivors: daughter, Linda L. (Wilfred) Bushnoe of Baldwinsville; sons, Raymond J. (Patti) of Baldwinsville and Richard H. (Sandy) of Port Byron; daughter-in-law, Barbara A. Loveless of Savannah, GA; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services: 9:30am Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 10:00am at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday. August 19, 2011 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
