Gwendolyn Mary Dwyer passed on to eternity peacefully on October 13, 2005 at the age of 87. Gwendolyn, also known as Gwen, was born on August 31, 1918 in Syracuse to Glenn and Ora Storms. She grew up on Tilden Road in New Hartford, NY and she worked for Utica Mutual Insurance for a time before marrying Paul F. Dwyer in 1942 at St. Agnes Church in Utica, NY. Gwen and Paul lived in Germany, Japan, Maryland, Texas, California and various upstate New York locations. Since 1957 they lived in Baldwinsville where their 9 children were raised. Gwen was a member of St. Mary's Alter Rosary Society, worked at Fay's Drugstore, the Baldwinsville Messenger and with Paul, delivered Meals-On-Wheels. She loved swimming and gardening. Her family and friends will miss her greatly, especially her thoughtfulness and generosity.

She is survived by her 9 children: Patricia, Brian, Michelle, Steve, James, Terry, Randy, Dan and Tom and eleven grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00am Saturday, October 22, 2005 at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. There are no calling hours. Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville has charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dwyer requested that her body be given as a gift for the advancement of medical education and research at the SUNY Medical College in Syracuse.
