Grace Bloom, 102, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Syracuse Home at McCarrie Place. She was born to the late Walter W. Benedict and Bertha B. Holcomb in Sherburne, NY. Grace lived with her husband in Fairmont for the majority of their years before moving to Baldwinsville after retirement. Grace served in the US auxiliary forces before serving the US ARMY during WWII, enjoyed a career as a Dietician and Dental Hygienist, and was an avid gardener.

Grace is predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert J. Bloom, Sr.

Grace is survived by a daughter, Grace Cotte (David); son, Robert J. Bloom, Jr. (Lisa); 5 Grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville, at 3:00 PM. Burial is in Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
