Gordon Maw, 92, of Liverpool, passed away May 18, 2023 at Syracuse Home. Gordon was born in England to the late Valentine and Lilian Maw on August 16, 1930. Following service to his country in the British Royal Navy he married Joan Magson and together they immigrated to Canada in 1966, Ohio in 1967 and settled in Liverpool in 1970. Gordon worked as a metallurgist in the steel industry and finished his career as the Superintendent of Specialty Metals at Crucible Steel. Gordon enjoyed family gatherings, travel, gardening, playing golf, cards and dominos.

Gordon was predeceased by his wife Joan in 2020, and son, Stephen, in 1976. Surviving are sons, Graham (Catherine) and Michael (Diane); 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws living in England. Services will be private.
