Gordon C. Evans, Sr., 65, of Baldwinsville died Saturday in Community General Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he graduated from Vocational High School. He lived most of his life in Syracuse and wintered in West Palm Beach, Fla. He retired after 45 years as a plant superintendent at Frazer & Jones Co., Solvay. He was a member of the American Institute of Industrial Engineers, American Foundries Society, Tuscarora Golf & Country Club and Liverpool Elks Lodge 2348.

Survivors: His wife, Christine M.; three daughters, Pamela A. Millien, Vickie M. Meyer and Dawn K. Evans, all of Baldwinsville; three sons, Gordon C. Jr. of Clay and Joseph M. and John A., both of Baldwinsville; three brothers, Gerald F. of Parish, Edward T. of Albany and Bruce R. of Auburn; 13 grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Augustine's Church, O'Brien Road, Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
