Gilda DeVito Connelly, 82, of Baldwinsville passed away Friday June 19, 2015. She was born and raised in Schenectady and worked as a Librarian's Secretary in the Baldwinsville School District. Gilda was a communicant and volunteer at St. Augustine's Church. She was an avid gardener, a great cook and enjoyed playing piano for the residents at Syracuse Home for 17 years. Gilda was a caregiver to many in the community. Her home, family & church were very dear to her. Gilda's greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.


Survivors: Husband of 63 years, Richard; daughters Kathleen (Richard) Schneider of Camillus, MaryAnne (Steve) Barger of Tampa, FL, Lynn (Jerry) Tanner of Baldwinsville; sons David (Karen) Connelly, Bruce (Pam) Connelly both of Baldwinsville; sister, Yolanda Lombardi of Schenectady; grandchildren Sarah, Tyler, Adam, Shane, Melissa, Corie, Nicole, Ronnie, Katie, Shannon & Jimmy and 15 great grandchildren.


Services: Tuesday, June 23, 2015, 10am at St. Augustine's Church Baldwinsville. Calling hours are Monday, June 22, 2015, 4-7pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville.
