Gerald J. Sobles Sr., 69 of Baldwinsville passed away at home on Wednesday. He was born in Syracuse the son of late Orval and Florence Darling Sobles. Gerald worked for Oakwood Cemeteries for many years. Gerry was a happy go lucky guy that enjoyed joking, fishing, bingo and spending time with his family. Survived by his children: Sandra (Jose) Figueroa, Gerald Sobles Jr., Liza Turner and Michael (Wendy) Sobles; grandchildren: Courtney, Jonathan, Tyler, Andrew, Brittany, Meagan, Destinee, Kristina, Brandon, Kelley, Richard Jr. and Kenneth; great grandchildren: Kristina and Rosalina; several brothers, sisters,nephews and nieces.


Services: 11:00 am Tuesday at St. Lucy's Church, Syracuse. Burial in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours are 4–7pm Monday at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville, NY.
