Gerald "Jerry" Hamilton, 82, of Baldwinsville, passed away Thursday. Born in Syracuse, he was employed with ABC Refrigeration for many years.

He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, golfing, and watching NASCAR.

He was predeceased by his son, Gerald Jr. in 1999;

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Nancy White Hamilton; Patty (Bryan) Jacobs of Liverpool and Carrie (Kenneth) Majchrzak of Baldwinsville; brother, Leonard Hamilton of Pulaski; six grandchildren, Joshua, Leah, Cameron, Ethan, Jared and Carter; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 12:00 p.m. at Jacksonville Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Sunnyside Care Center's west wing staff for their care of Jerry over the last several months.
