Gerald A. "Geray" Wright, 65, of Baldwinsville, passed away Saturday at home. Born in Ogdensburg, he was raised in Phoenix and resided in Baldwinsville for much of his life. Geray graduated from Phoenix High School in 1976 and Alfred State in 1978.

He was employed as a transportation broker with WJW Associates in Syracuse for over 25 years. Geray had a love for all animals and especially his beloved yorkie-bichon Chelsea. He enjoyed boating, maintaining his lawn, and watching the birds, chipmunks, and squirrels around his yard. He was an avid classic car enthusiast.

Geray was predeceased by his son William and father, Arthur.

He is survived by his wife Regina; daughter, Courtney (Andrew) Holland of Blakeslee, PA; mother, Rosemary Ross of Baldwinsville; sister, Peggy (John) Crowe of Fulton; brother, Ken Wright of Baldwinsville; three grandchildren, Ayla, Ethan, and Mason; many nieces and nephews; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.

Geray attended St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd., Baldwinsville where a calling hour will be held on Friday, April 26, from 9:30 a.m - 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. A private burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity Smile Train, at smiletrain.org, which held a very dear place in Geray's heart.
