Gerald F. Freeman, 82, passed away at The Crossings after a long illness. He was born in Utica, NY to Frederick and Virgel Terrell Freeman. Jerry served as a Seaman in the Navy during the Korean War Conflict. He worked for AT&T for more than 30 years and was a member of the Baldwinsville VFW Post 153. After retirement, he was a janitor for the Baldwinsville School District and the Public Library.
Jerry is predeceased by his son, Scott Freeman.
Survived by his wife, Audrey Jane Lamb Freeman; children Lynne (Jim) Fisher, Dawn (Mike Bush) Baker, Gary Samson, Keith Samson, and Patricia Samson; his grandchildren James (Michelle) Fisher, Aiden Bush, Jessica (Christian) Paige, Brandii Freeman, Erica (Stephen) Farr; great-grandchildren Ava Fisher, Quinn & Avery Paige; and sister Joan (Dick) Kies.
Calling hours are Saturday, December 17 from 1-3 pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. Services to follow at 3 pm at the funeral home. Burial is in Riverview Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Crossings for the wonderful care they provided to Jerry.
