George W. Wase Jr., 73, of Fairway Circle, Baldwinsville, died Tuesday. Born in Syracuse, he attended North Syracuse High School. He retired as manager in 1985 after 23 years at Seneca Auto Supply in Baldwinsville. He served in the Merchant Marines for two years during World War II before being drafted into the Army. He was a Golden Gloves boxer during his military service.

Survivors: His wife, the former Eva R. ''Becky'' Wright; two daughters, Helen M. Wase of Baldwinsville and Nancy L. Scully of Camillus; two grandchildren.

Services: 4 p.m. Sunday at Falardeau Funeral Home. Burial, Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours, 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
