George C. Stanton, 65, of Baldwinsville, passed away Sunday at Francis House. He was born in Syracuse and received his Bachelor's Degree in 1970. He operated Stanton Foundry from 1974 to 1982 and was CEO at Roth Steel, Inc., in Syracuse.

Survivors: his wife, the former Debra Lee Sherrill; daughters, Julie and Kelly; sons, Robert Will and Ryan Stanton; brother, Scott (Susan) Stanton; 8 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his parents, George P. and Jean M. Stanton.

Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Services to follow at 7:00pm. Burial will be private.
