George T. Pillans, 79, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away Friday, August 10, 2007, at the Grand Strand Medical Center. Formerly of Baldwinsville, George retired from Crouse-Hinds Co. as a manufacturing supervisor with forty years of service He was formerly a member of the Loyal Order & Fellowship of the Moose Lodge #644 and currently a parishioner of St. Andrews Church in Myrtle Beach.
George was predeceased by a brother, Richard and a sister, Mary Saldana.

Survivors: his wife of over fifty-five years, Barbara LaPoint Pillans; daughter, Nancy Wilson; son, John; granddaughter, Christine (Ben) Rhody; grandson, Steven Wilson; great-granddaughter, Emily Rhody; sisters, Daisey McCann and Jane Palmer; brothers, Tom and Robert; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:00am Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at St. Augustines Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd., Baldwinsville. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Monday, August 20, 2007, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
