George E. Houde, 66, of Memphis died unexpectedly Sunday, December 5, 2004 at his home. He was born in Syracuse and lived in Memphis the past 11 years. George retired from New Venture Gear in 1998 after 32 years of service. He served six years in the Army National Guard and was an avid outdoorsman.

Survivors: his wife of 45 years, Mary Lou Houde; two daughters, Deborah Houde and Katherine Lang both of Baldwinsville; a son, William E. of Marsellus; a sister, Carol Walsh of Camillus; a brother, Gerald of Elbridge; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Services: 1:00pm Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 11:00am – 1:00pm prior to the service.
