George P. Dittmar, Jr., 89, died December 7, 2007 at home in Florida, after a short illness. Born in 1918, George was a Navy veteran of the Pacific theater in WW II. He worked for the General Electric Company in Schenectady DSD, and Syracuse HMED, where he retired as a Department Manager in1980. He was a member and past President of the GE Elfin Society. George is pre-deceased by his wife of 59 years, Gertrude, and his son Ronald Dittmar.

Survivors include a son George III of Eagle Rock, Missouri, and a daughter Beverly Coulter of Baldwinsville, New York, along with 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
