Obituary

George Deloff, 92, of Baldwinsville passed away Friday, May 23, 2008, at Crouse Hospital. He was born on May 12th, 1916 in Syracuse. He retired from Crucible Steel in 1976 where he had worked for over 30 years. He was an avid bowler for 60 years with many trophies for his accomplishments. George was a former Baldwinsville volunteer fireman, a lifetime member of the Moose and spent many years umpiring softball in the Baldwinsville area.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 70 years, Shirley V. Deloff, his son, George (Patricia) Deloff of Baldwinsville. He is also survivied by his two grandsons, Gerald R. (Adrienne) Deloff of Baldwinsville and Michael (Helena) Deloff of Manlius; two granddaughters, Laura L. (Guy) Caylor of Texas and Tracy L. (Tim) Blumer of Liverpool; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose Horton of Las Vegas; a brother, Louis Deloff of New Mexico; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 9:00am Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
