George Howard Benoit, 90, of Baldwinsville, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Oswego Hospital. He was born in Owlshead, NY and has lived in Baldwinsville since 1952. He was a Beekeeper and manufactured and sold his own honey for over 50 years. George was pre-deceased by his wife of 63 years, Nellie M. Benoit in 2009.

Survivors: two sons, Reid (Donna) Benoit of Boston, MA and Philip G. (June) Benoit of Oswego; two sister-in-laws, Leaphie Benoit of Scotia, NY and Katherine (Francis) Mallote of CT; two brother-in-laws, Raymond (Renee) Gero of Duane, NY and Walter Gero; 7 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 4pm Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Inc., 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 2 to 4pm Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service. Burial will be in the spring.
