Genevieve Barych Chamberlain, 95, formerly of Baldwinsville passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Pontiac Nursing Home in Oswego. She was born in Three Rivers, Mass. Gen enjoyed writing short stories, editorials and poetry. She also enjoyed gardening, going on trips and Bingo. She was a former member of the Liverpool Methodist Church. Gen was pre-deceased by her husband Harry L. Chamberlain, her parents Anna and John Barych, and sister Nellie B. Moyer.

She was the loving mother of Susan J. (Bob Livingston) Strong of Phoenix; Robert B. (Joan) Chamberlain of Arizona and William (Judy) Chamberlain of NC; numerous grandchildren including Peggy Flask of Oswego and Eileen Bates and George Strong, Jr. both of Phoenix, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and one cousin, Nancy Jones.

Services: Calling hours are 10:00am – 12 noon on Monday, September 12, 2011 with the service following the calling hours. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Baldwinsville.
