Gates A. Hudson, 92, of Baldwinsville passed away Sunday, February 3, 2008 at St. Josephs Hospital. He was born in the Town of Lysander and was a life resident of Baldwinsville. He was a 1935 graduate of the Baldwinsville Academy and also a member of Troop K. Gates was co-founder of Hudson & Mowins, Baldwinsville and retired in 1977. He was a member of the Baldwinsville School Board for several years and also a past member of the Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors: a daughter, Martha "Marti" (Fred) Woods of New Smyrna Beach, FL; two sons, John (Conne) of Baldwinsville and Thomas (Sue) of Cato; a sister, Marion Dixon of Trumansburg, NY; three brothers, Harlan of Lakeland, FL, Earl of Skaneateles and Olin of Camillus; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 5 step-children; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services: 10:00 am Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are 4-7pm Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
